As part of the development of Uncommon Practitioners TV, we wanted to know how many practitioners had the opportunity to watch live therapy being demonstrated, either in person or on video, during their training. Here are the results:

It seems likely that practitioners who could answer ‘yes’ are more likely to have taken part in the survey, so the data could be a little skewed, but still it’s encouraging to see how many actually experienced live sessions, given that this is arguably the most effective way to pick up therapy, counselling and coaching skills.
That’s why we created Uncommon Practitioners TV, which contains many hours of live client footage, with commentaries, subtitles and other enhancements to make continuing professional development truly effective and fun.
